When I first read an article about blind (or nearly blind) people taking photos, I wasn't totally surprised by the prospect, but merely curious of what the result would be. Just as an artist with perfect vision might squint to concentrate on the colours or the composition, I wanted to know how some blind artists might perceive and then express sound, the tactile and emotion.
